The Kunas are a tribe from Colombia and Panama.
They are very proud of theur culture and their traditions which they maintain and pass from a generation to the next.
The Nuchu is a wooden sculpture which is present in absolutely every Kuna family and which has a protective role.
Ours are made from balsa wood. Trees have supernatural powers and so does wood. Balsa is one of the woods with the most supernatural properties.
There are as many Nuchus in the household as there are members of the family.
Those Nuchus comes from a small Kuna village located in the Darien jungle.
Beliefs are still very much alive in the tropical rainforest of Central America.
Sold with the base included.
This sculpture received a phytosanitary treatment to eliminate all insect larvae.
